Reiki is a Japanese relaxation technique that is practiced by laying on of hands. Mikao Usui discovered it in Japan nearly a century ago during a mystical experience on Mount Kurama. REiki: What is it?

Reiki is an excellent technique of deep relaxation through touch.

A Japanese energy method, Reiki induces deep relaxation, similar to a meditative state. It allows a letting go, a letting go and a reconnection with oneself and therefore with one's real, essential needs.

 

The person who benefits from it has the opportunity to relax and take time for themselves; to turn all his attention inward, in order to leave the space of a session all external influences and disturbances aside. It is a simple return to oneself, to one's essence, to one's source, to one's own existential needs, without taking into account the outside world and all that is happening there.

 

During a session, you can leave aside the hassles of everyday life (anxieties, worries, stress, external pressure, etc.) in order to focus only on yourself (on your state of health, your well-being, on your desires and inner desires, dreams and wishes, deep aspirations…) and thus offer oneself all the attention one needs to be well.

You can rest and recharge your batteries, regain your strength.

 

The more a person is centered, in the present moment and attentive to their own needs, the happier and healthier they are.

Reiki promotes beneficial awareness.

Reiki is a beautiful and deep moment of introspection and relaxation which also allows you to release certain blockages such as emotions, dramas or long-repressed wounds. It is therefore also a time when the person who receives Reiki can let go of crying in complete safety and allow themselves to be themselves, simply, without fear or shame. She gives herself permission to freely feel what is buried deep within her...

Reiki is fantastic for helping to find balance and harmony, to get to know yourself better, to tap into yourself and to develop your own self-healing faculties.

The gentle, simple and benevolent touch of the practitioner, as well as his desire to help, brings a significant plus. In the "aggressive" and "violent" world we live in today, this is a very important part of a Reiki session. The practitioner by his simple presence and his positive energy, his sensitivity and his empathy towards the person who comes to see him, will automatically bring him a certain comfort, attention and consideration, which is ultimately the basis of respect.

 

We all have so much to gain from offering more love, listening and consideration, whether to ourselves to begin with, but also to the world and the people around us.

A good Reiki practitioner therefore gives his time and a lot of love and light, here are already beautiful beneficial energies! He makes himself available for the other, gently accompanies him on his way of life and always does his best to provide him with the most pleasant and soothing relaxation session possible.

However, a Reiki practitioner is not a magician, he cannot do the work in place of the person who comes to see him, it is always up to the consultant himself to give himself the means to feel better. Reiki will always advocate the principle of "Sovereignty": Everyone is Master of their Life! ... And it is so important today that we all take back our power on an individual scale.

Reiki is a very good support tool to help a person who wishes to induce a real change in his life.

The word REIKI means "Universal Life Energy" in Japanese. This so-called "conscious / intelligent" energy is made available through the "Reiki Channel" (here: the practitioner). Thus this beautiful energy will be able to be channeled by the Reiki therapist and go to stimulate, help the self-healing of the consultant (client or recipient).

And you should know that Reiki energy will always go where you need it most!

The consultant remains fully clothed and lies down on a massage table, while the practitioner gently places his hands in about twenty basic positions. The average time per position is usually 3 minutes.

 

I would also like to point out that a single session already brings a lot of benefits, but that it is not necessarily always enough to really feel all the positive effects of Reiki. In principle it is advisable to do a series of 4 to 6 sessions and only then draw these conclusions. As for meditation or any other technique, it is good to practice on a regular basis to obtain a really visible result that will last over time. But, despite this advice, it also sometimes happens that a single session is enough. So, as we are all so beautifully unique and different, the easiest thing is for each of you to feel for yourself what feels most appropriate for you.. Just trust yourself and you can't go wrong...

The energy sessions do not in any way replace your medication and medical prescriptions. Only your attending physician is able to diagnose and prescribe a treatment adapted to your state of health.
